Commissioning Manager – Data Center Projects

Sitowise is growing rapidly in the data center, industrial and energy sectors, and our multidisciplinary teams deliver services across the full lifecycle — from early development and permitting to engineering, project management and modernization.

We are now looking for an Comissioning Manager (CxM) to support the delivery of large-scale data center project in Southern Finland.

The CxM will be responsible for overseeing Commissioning processes within Client construction organization. Working collaboratively with construction team, procurement, commissioning, vendor and engineering teams, you will ensure that Client´s day-to-day execution adheres to client processes and project parameters and ensure conformance, meeting the highest standards of performance, functionality, and safety.  This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the high standard and reliability of our the clients product.

All Work shall be complete and in accordance with the current version of the Commissioning Plan of Record (CxPOR) and its associated documents, project documents, Project Schedule, Owner’s Standards, governing regulations and codes and standards.

The role will work directly with Client Cx lead and Cx Agent, and collaborate with Client GC:s, A/E:s, OFCI- and other vendors/contractors.

The CxM Reports to the Construction Progam Manager and acts as Employer’s Representative.

Main responsibilities:

• CxM is responsible for ensuring that each project meets the project KPIs'

• Manage the Commissioning Process including development of Cx scripts, scheduling,

  coordinating, executing, and documenting commissioning process through CxA’s

• Work to ensure commissioning complies with client’s standards and the CxPOR

• Manage the coordination of CxA’s to develop and execute the commissioning plan, observe

  and document performance; determine whether systems are functioning in accordance

  with the documented Basis of Design and all Contract Documents including Specifications,

  Drawings and Sequences of Operation

• Oversee the entire Commissioning Process: Commissioning Plan,

  Commissioning Specifications, Factory Witness Testing, equipment QA/QC, Functional

  Performance Testing, Integrated Systems Testing, Equipment Tagging, commissioning

  document templates, training of systems, and Turnover and Acceptance of the systems and

  the facility. The v-CxM will support the Commissioning Process and be the champion of

  adherence to the Commissioning Program.

• Provides guidance and corrective action when necessary.

• Provides unique knowledge and answers questions regarding delivery options.

What we expect from you

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical

  Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science degree.

• Proven track record of relevant work experience in the Nordics with full license to work in Finland.

• 6+ years of mission critical commissioning or facilities operations experience

• Data center design/engineering

• Fluent English; Finnish is an advantage

Note: The role is full time site based.
