Associate Project Manager – Data Center Projects

Sitowise is growing rapidly in the data center, industrial and energy sectors, and our multidisciplinary teams deliver services across the full lifecycle — from early development and permitting to engineering, project management and modernization.

We are now looking for an Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data center project in Southern Finland.

The APM is responsible for the delivery of a single project or a larger/key part of the project as assigned.

The APM is responsible for the delivery of the assigned project/scope and will be supported by a site-based team during the construction, fit-out and commissioning and handover phases of the project.

The APM reports to the Senior Project Manager and acts as Assistant to the Employer’s Representative.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the project meets the project KPIs, guidelines and standards.

• Management of all project related activities including coordinating with various Client resources, vendors, and contractors.

• Liaise with the Client team, Consultant team(s) and Contractor(s) to implement all key

  processes to ensure the project delivery and monitor these processes reporting and making

  recommendations.

• Implement the Project Execution Plan with the project team, the Contractor and specialist sub-

  contractors and suppliers

• Provides guidance and corrective action when necessary.

• Provides unique knowledge and answers questions regarding delivery options.

What we expect from you

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in e.g. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.

• Proven relevant work experience in the Nordics and full right to work in Finland.

• Experience in managing large, complex construction projects involving extensive MEP systems.

• Solid understanding of CSA, life-safety systems, and local statutory requirements.

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles (breaker coordination, switch‑gear operations, local electrical codes).

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles for cooling systems, including statutory requirements.

• Experience in contractor and vendor management (RFPs, bidding, change orders).

• Experience in international projects, with understanding of cultural diversity and inclusivity in large-scale program delivery.

• Experience in project administration, design management, and project/stakeholder management (including AHJ).

• Experience working in an international, English‑speaking project environment.

Note: The role is full time site based.
