MEP Superintendent – Data Center Projects

Sitowise is growing rapidly in the data center, industrial and energy sectors, and our multidisciplinary teams deliver services across the full lifecycle — from early development and permitting to engineering, project management and modernization.

We are now looking for an MEP Superintendent to support the delivery of large-scale data center project in Southern Finland.

The MEP Construction Superintendent is a specialist in technical services project management, incl. mechanical, electrical and instrumentation technical fit-out, providing support for all projects under the program.

This role will provide leadership of all field related mission critical activities and coordinate with Client PM and subcontractors for proper execution. 

MEP Superintendent Reports to the Program Manager and acts as Employer’s Representative.

Main responsibilities:

• The MEP Superintendent is responsible for management of all MEP related activities

  including coordinating with various Client FTE resources, vendors, and contractors.

• Ensuring that the project meets the project KPIs, guidelines and standards.

• Coordinate site conflicts and queries regarding design drawings and specs in the form of RFIs with design team to unblock project schedule

• Ensure the Client / Owner´s Statutory Obligations are met in accordance with local legislation, codes and permits. Through the A/E Design Team and Contractor, liaise with utility, local and statutory authorities to implement their requirements for the Project.

• Provides guidance and corrective action when necessary.

• Provides unique knowledge and answers questions regarding delivery options.

What we expect from you

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Construction Management/

  Building Services Management or an equivalent engineering science degree.

• Proven track record of relevant work experience in the Nordics with full license to work in Finland.

• 7+ years of recent experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects

• Understand HV/MV power transmission systems, MEP systems engineering principles and local & statutory requirements.

• General contractor and vendor management experience

• Extensive experience in having a responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities 

• Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, cooling, plumbing, fire protection and control systems

• Fluent English; Finnish is an advantage

Note: The role is full time site based.
